性狀：全草多纏繞成團，被白色毛茸，具匍匐莖，葉互生。三出複葉，基生葉的葉柄長6-10cm，小葉多皺縮，完整者倒卵形，長1.5-4cm，寬1-3cm，基部偏斜，邊緣有鈍齒，表面黃綠色，上面近無毛，下面被疏毛。花單生於葉腋，具長柄。聚合果棕紅色，瘦果小，花萼宿存。氣微，味微澀。

Properties: The entire plant is often tangled and covered in white hairs, with creeping stems and alternate leaves. The leaves are trifoliate, with basal petioles 6-10 cm long. The leaflets are often wrinkled. Intact leaflets are obovate, 1.5-4 cm long and 1-3 cm wide, with an oblique base and bluntly serrated margins. The surface is yellow-green, nearly glabrous above and sparsely hairy below. Flowers are solitary in the leaf axils, with long petioles. The aggregate fruit is brown-red, with small achenes and a persistent calyx. The aroma is subtle and the taste is slightly astringent.
功效：主治熱病，驚癇前症，咳嗽，吐血，咽喉腫痛，痢疾，癰腫，癤，蛇蟲咬傷，湯火傷。
Effects: Indicates fever, epilepsy, cough, hematemesis, sore throat, dysentery, carbuncles, boils, snake and insect bites, and burns caused by excessive heat or fire.
