性味歸經：苦、辛，大寒。歸肺、膀胱經。

功效主治：專瀉肺消痰定喘，為治咳嗽痰多之良藥。

Efficacy and indications: It primarily drains the lungs, resolves phlegm, and relieves asthma, making it an excellent medicine for treating cough with excessive phlegm.

用量用法：3～10克，包煎。

Dosage and use: 3–10 grams, decocted in a bag.

使用注意：凡肺虛喘促，脾虛腫滿之證忌用。
